Reward Trips
Reward trips will hopefully commence again at the end of this term. The criteria for attendance on these trips is:-
1 – 96% attendance or above (excluding COVID-19)
2 – 96% punctuality
3 – No more than 3 Emmaus in the half term
4 – Positive credit score
There are a fantastic number of clubs and events being held please encourage the students to get involved.
All pupils are required to wear full school uniform for the entire year. They will wear PE kit on the days they have PE. If you have any queries on this please refer to the website or contact your child’s tutor. Please pay attention to the following:-
- Pupils are allowed to wear their school hoodie, to and from school, over their jumper, if required. It is not allowed to be worn, around school, unless it is being worn with their PE kit.
- Hair must be of one colour, natural in appearance. Hair styles must not be cut below a number two. Make up, including coloured nail varnish, lip gloss and fake tan, is not to be worn. Hair fashion accessories are also not to be worn. False nails and other beauty accessories are not acceptable.
- Watches and one small stud earring in each ear lobe are the only pieces of jewellery permitted at SPHCVA.
A reminder of equipment required for school:-
- School bag
- Planner
- 2 or more black or blue ball point pens
- scientific calculator
- 30 cm ruler
- Pencil
- Pencil sharpener
- Coloured pencils
If you have any questions or concerns in the first instance please contact your child’s form tutor this is usually easiest done via email and all email contacts can be found on the school’s website. Year 8 parent’s evening will be held on the 23rd June this year, please do not dwell on concerns to this point.
